Learn how to lead a more meaningful life
We all want to know the secret to a happy, fulfilling and meaningful life. During this special day course, Kelsang Luma, visiting from Christchurch, will present the special personal advice from the heart of the great, Indian Buddhist master, Atisha (982-1054 AD).
The poem Advice from Atisha’s Heart, was a set of advice he gave to his Tibetan students late in his life. Even today, his advice has immense meaning. Gaining a deeper understanding of his teachings and putting them into practice in a modern context will enable us to lead a meaningful, spiritual life.
“Always keep a smiling face and a loving mind, and speak truthfully without malice…”
“Since you cannot tame the minds of others until you have tamed your own, begin by taming your own mind…”
– Advice Venerable Atisha gave to Venerable Jang Chub Ö.
Join us for this course, where Kelsang Luma will transmit this ancient wisdom which is still highly applicable today.
