Do you keep hearing about all the benefits of meditation, but not sure where to start? Or maybe you just want some pointers for improving your practice.
These classes are designed to help you learn meditation tips, improve the quality of your life, and gain an experience of inner peace. Enjoy practical instruction and guided meditation.

Class fee is $15

Our weekly drop-in classes are suitable for all levels of experience. Each class includes two guided meditations, a talk on a practical aspect of Buddhism or meditation (see topics below), and time for questions. There is no need to attend every class, just drop-in when you have the time. Everybody welcome.

Carl Peterken

CARL has been practising Modern Buddhism for many years, having engaged in long-term meditation retreats and participated in numerous Kadampa Festivals in England and elsewhere. He’s well educated, works in IT as a web and mobile developer, and volunteers for Dharma Centres internationally. Carl’s teachings and guided meditations come from faith and confidence resulting from his extensive personal experience. He’s intelligent, a bit shy but also relatable and humorous.
