April 16 – Going for Refuge & Three Jewels
Buddha said that living beings are like migrators going from one life to the next, and that because of ignorance we are unable to control our next rebirth or find freedom from suffering. By relying upon the Three Jewels Buddha, Dharma & Sangha, we can find ultimate refuge and protection.

April 23 – The Spiritual Path & The three Higher Trainings
We all long for true happiness but how many of us have fulfilled this wish? The Spiritual path is an internal path the leads us through the negativity of our mind to a state of permanent happiness known as Nirvana.

Class fee $15

Our weekly drop-in classes are suitable for all levels of experience. Each class includes two guided meditations, a talk on a practical aspect of Buddhism or meditation (see topics below), and time for questions. There is no need to attend every class, just drop-in when you have the time. Everybody welcome.

Kelsang Pawo

Kelsang Pawo is the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Auckland. He is a Kiwi Buddhist monk who is dedicated to helping people develop inner peace, and find real meaning in their lives. He teaches regularly at our Centre in Mt Eden, as well as in Onehunga & Takapuna.
