Current series: Advice from the Heart


In modern times we face many challenges and difficulties in our lives and our daily experience is often stressful and unrewarding. By learning to integrate the ancient wisdom of Buddha’s teachings into our daily life, we can find practical solutions to many of our everyday problems and discover real meaning in every moment of our life.

The teachings and meditations during this series will be based on the renowned text, Advice from Atisha’s Heart, composed by the Indian Buddhist master Atisha (982-1054 CE). These teachings encapsulate the very essence of how to lead a life of compassion and wisdom and are as relevant today as when they were first given.

  • August 13 – Patience
  • August 20 –Effort
  • August 27 – Concentration
  • Sept 3 –       Wisdom

Our weekly drop-in classes are suitable for all levels of experience. Each class includes two guided meditations, a talk on a practical aspect of Buddhism or meditation (see topics below), and time for questions. There is no need to attend every class, just drop-in when you have the time. Everybody welcome.
