The Four Noble Truths

Saturday, 9 September 2:30pm-6:00pm

Kadampa Meditation Centre Auckland

Learn the path revealed by Buddha that leads to permanent liberation

Come to this half-day course to open your eyes to profound and life-transforming universal truths.

In Sutra of the Four Noble Truths Buddha says, ‘You should know sufferings. You should abandon origins. You should practise the path. You should attain cessations.’

In saying this Buddha is advising us that we should abandon suffering and its causes, and that we should follow the path that leads to the supreme permanent peace of mind (nirvana), and the pure and everlasting happiness of enlightenment.

This is a wonderful opportunity to receive profound teachings from Kelsang P and learn how to practise the Sutra of the Four Noble Truths in our normal daily life, without having to abandon our family, work and responsibilities.

The teachings will be based on the books “How to Solve our Human Problems” and “Modern Buddhism”, both by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.

Everyone is welcome! No previous knowledge of Buddhism or meditation is required.
