A Weekend of Gratitude
Live Online • Sat 11 May • Classic Members and above
This day course is part of our weekend of gratitude.
When we observe suffering and harm in the world we can easily fall into a negative view of ourself and others, thinking there is little justice or humanity left. But this is an incorrect view coming from focusing exclusively on others’ harmful actions and believing this to be their real nature.
Buddha’s teachings present an entirely different view of the world in which we can begin to appreciate the immense kindness and benefit that we receive from others. Through using our wisdom and applying appropriate attention, we will discover we are all interconnected in a web of kindness from which it is impossible to separate ourself.
In this day course, learn positive ways of thinking which bring about a feeling of profound gratitude towards everyone. Through applying this in meditation we will gradually come to inhabit a beautiful world full of kindness and love.
Following this day course, treat yourself to a day of guided retreat. The day retreat is entitled ‘Seeing the Web of Kindness’ and will offer you an opportunity to take the teachings from today more deeply into your heart. See more information on this day retreat.
