Learn to Meditate

Happiness is an inside job. Meditation is a powerful tool for creating lasting happiness through increasing our inner peace and enabling transformative changes of mind. Far from a mere temporary escape by sitting still, being quiet and thinking about nothing for a little while (which is definitely not meditation), the benefits are numerous, far-reaching and accessible to everyone. Learn the basics to kick-start a simple daily meditation practice in this half-day course.
Reception: 9.45am – 10.00am
Teaching & Meditation: 10.00am – 11.15am
Morning Tea : 11.15am – 11.45pm
Teaching & Meditation: 11.45am – 1pm
Steph is a warm and sincere teacher who draws on many years exerience practising meditation and Buddhism. Her teachings are clear and inspiring, and filled with practical advice on how to keep calm in the midst of busy life, and how to maintain good feelings towards the people we encounter day to day. Steph teaches occasional classes and courses for KMC Auckland.
