Auckland CBD Meditation Courses
Please Note – the Auckland CBD class on the 26 November 2020 will be held in the Betty Wark Room. The class on the 3 December 2020 has been cancelled.
These 4-week courses in Auckland CBD provide a great introduction to meditation and an opportunity to learn simple mindfulness techniques to overcome stress and worry, and to experience more happiness and joy. No meditation experience is necessary, and our classes are suitable for beginners and experienced meditators – everyone is welcome.
We recommend attending all four classes in a series, however it is also fine to drop-in any week as each class is self-contained. The class fee is $15 per week to drop-in, or $50 to pre-register for the whole series below.”
Learn to Meditate
Meditation is a way of calming the mind and developing a more positive approach to life. In this course learn the basics of meditation and discover for yourself the inner peace and happiness that arises when your mind becomes still. This course is suitable for beginners as well as those wishing to improve their meditation skills.

Mindfulness
We all want more joy and happiness, and less worry and stress. Mindfulness techniques enable us to connect directly to a more peaceful mind and to let go of sources of conflict and worry. The result is not only more happiness in our own life, but we will also be able to bring benefit and joy into the lives of others.During this 4-week course will have an opportunity to develop and improve our mindfulness skills both in and out of meditation, and to learn how to use these skills in everyday life. This course is suitable for beginners as well as those who already have experience of meditation.
