Resident Teacher - Kelsang Tara
Kelsang Tara is the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Auckland. Tara has been studying and practising Kadampa Buddhism for many years, and ordained as a Buddhist nun in 2015.
Tara’s inspiring teachings reflect her sincere wish to help those in need and to share her experience of Buddha’s life-changing instructions with others. She shows a humble, kind example and inspires students to make their lives happy and meaningful by integrating Buddhist wisdom into their everyday lives.
Tara will be teaching weekly online meditation classes as well as online half-day workshops and the Foundation Programme study class.

Fiona has been practising and teaching Kadampa Buddhism for many years. Her teachings are heartfelt, inspiring and extremely practical, making it easy for students to apply the instructions in daily life. Fiona is the Administrative Director at Kadampa Meditation Centre Auckland.
Jasmine Dungey (Jazz)
Jazz is an experienced and dedicated Kadampa practitioner and teacher. Her sincere practice and experience of applying Buddha’s teachings in daily life are an inspiration to all who know her. Jazz's teachings are very clear and logical, using examples and analogies that make her teachings easy for students to put into practice. Jazz is the Education Programme Coordinator for Kadampa Meditation Centre Auckland.

Elizabeth Kelly (Lizzie)
Lizzie is an experienced practitioner and teacher who is well known for her enthusiasm for Kadampa Buddhist teachings. She speaks from the heart and gives thoughtful, helpful and down-to-earth teachings that are based on her own life experiences. Lizzie is the order manager for Tharpa New Zealand.
Haydn has practised Modern Kadampa Buddhist Teachings for many years in both the United Kingdom and New Zealand. He is a sincere and dedicated kadampa Buddhist. He is a very sincere meditator and practitioner who conveys the meaning of Buddhist teachings and meditation practice for daily life in a manner that is easily accessible and able to be put into practice with great confidence.
