Resident Teacher - Kelsang Shechog

Kelsang Shechog is a Buddhist nun and the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Auckland. Shechog has been practising and teaching Kadampa Buddhism for over 16 years.
Shechog’s teachings are exceptionally clear and she presents profound ideas in a way that is easily accessible and applicable to modern life. Shechog is much loved for her gentle manner, kind heart and for showing an inspiring example for everyone on the spiritual path.
Shechog will be teaching weekly classes in Mt Eden and Takapuna, as well as half-day workshops and the Foundation Programme study class.

Fiona Brennan
Fiona has been practising and teaching Kadampa Buddhism for many years. Her teachings are heartfelt, inspiring and extremely practical, making it easy for students to apply the instructions in daily life. Fiona is the Administrative Director at Kadampa Meditation Centre Auckland.

Jasmine Dungey (Jazz)
Jazz is an experienced and dedicated Kadampa practitioner and teacher. Her sincere practice and experience of applying Buddha’s teachings in daily life are an inspiration to all who know her. Jazz's teachings are very clear and logical, using examples and analogies that make her teachings easy for students to put into practice. Jazz is the Education Programme Coordinator for Kadampa Meditation Centre Auckland.

David MacPherson (Dave)

Elizabeth Kelly (Lizzie)
Lizzie is an experienced practitioner and teacher who is well known for her enthusiasm for Kadampa Buddhist teachings. She speaks from the heart and gives thoughtful, helpful and down-to-earth teachings that are based on her own life experiences. Lizzie is the order manager for Tharpa New Zealand.

Anastasia Dailianis

Haydn Kerr
Haydn has practised Modern Kadampa Buddhist Teachings for many years in both the United Kingdom and New Zealand. He is a sincere and dedicated kadampa Buddhist. He is a very sincere meditator and practitioner who conveys the meaning of Buddhist teachings and meditation practice for daily life in a manner that is easily accessible and able to be put into practice with great confidence.

Stephanie Gale
Steph is a warm and sincere teacher who draws on many years experience practising meditation and Buddhism. Her teachings are clear and inspiring, and filled with practical advice on how to keep calm in the midst of busy life, and how to maintain good feelings towards the people we encounter day to day. Steph teaches occasional classes and courses for KMC Auckland.
